Moyer Aviation, Inc. is an established provider of charter services, air tours, aircraft repair & maintenance, and is a pilot training school operating from Mount Pocono Municipal Airport (KMPO) in Tobyhanna, PA.

Summary

As Maintenance Support, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance staff with repairs and alterations to aircraft, aircraft cleaning & detailing, and providing efficient and safe aircraft ground handling services for the Company and customer aircraft. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Moyer’s facilities are maintained to a high standard. This role requires a hard-working, reliable individual with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The expected career path for this position is growth into an aircraft maintenance apprentice, which can lead to advancement into a career as an A&P mechanic.

Key Responsibilities

Assist maintenance personnel with maintenance & repair of aircraft.
Maintain cleanliness of the Company’s aircraft (interior and exterior).
Clean and detail customer aircraft as required.
Move aircraft as required to support maintenance activities.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the hangar and surrounding areas.
Assist with facilities cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on ground support equipment.
Fuel & move charter aircraft as required.
Assist pilots and passengers with luggage and other items as necessary.
Follow established safety procedures to ensure the safety of all customers and employees.
Communicate effectively with customers, pilots, and team members.
Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
Perform other tasks and projects as directed by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
Able to work with a wide range of equipment and vehicles
A self-starter that can work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work a regular schedule of 8:00am to 4:30pm M-F with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Must be available for on call duty for night-time emergency call ins 24/7 and be within 1 hour of the airport when on call
Prior experience in aviation industry preferred
