Background

Moyer Aviation, Inc. is an established provider of charter services, air tours, aircraft repair & maintenance, and is a pilot training school operating from Mount Pocono Municipal Airport (KMPO) in Tobyhanna, PA.

Summary

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking aircraft maintenance and repair jobs including scheduling, quoting, purchasing, and invoicing. You will also be responsible for managing inventory and materials needed for Moyer Aviation’s maintenance and repair department.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor aircraft maintenance and repair jobs, including scheduling repairs and inspections of Moyer’s and customer’s aircraft
Conduct customer on-boarding and maintain customer and aircraft data records
Prepare invoices in a timely manner and to customers, and receive payments.
Receive and route maintenance phone calls
Purchase parts and materials required for the company’s maintenance and repair department
Receive incoming parts and materials inventory in accordance with the company’s operating manual
Enter inventory into the company’s inventory tracking system
Maintain the inventory stockroom and shipping & receiving areas in a neat and orderly manner
Ensure that the company’s inventory tracking system is kept up to date and accurate
Monitor inventory and material stock levels and replenish as necessary
Ensure that company tools and equipment are tagged, tracked, and stored in a safe manner
Process part requests including picking, packing, and shipping as needed
Track and document parts used for each maintenance and repair event performed
Track and process part core returns and warranty claims
Perform cycle counts in accordance with the company’s policy
Work with accounting to prepare and reconcile parts purchases and invoicing
Prepare monthly reports required by accounting and management
Handle shipping and receiving needs for the company
Perform other duties and project assigned by management

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Strong data entry and management skills
Detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Knowledge of aviation industry and regulations preferred
Pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
Comply with company and FAA alcohol & drug policies.
Experience with shipping and receiving a plus
